This carburetor upgrades all model year Mercury 3.5hp outboards and 2006 and newer Tohatsu 3.5hp outboards to a 5HP carburetor. We recommend this carburetor if you already have an aluminium or steel propeller for your 3.5hp outboard (see details below).

If you would like to convert your 5hp Mercury to a 6hp, the Mercury 6hp 4-Stroke Carburetor is interchangeable with this carburetor and will provide more power.
